About Christian Venge

Christian Venge has a vision impairment, which means he cannot see clearly. Despite this, he has become a top athlete in cycling. In 2013, he received a very special award from Spain called the Real Orden al Mérito Deportivo. This award is given to people who have achieved great things in sports.

Christian's Cycling Journey

Christian Venge has competed in several Paralympic Games, showing his incredible talent. He often rides a tandem bike, which is a bicycle built for two people. On a tandem, one person, called the pilot, steers and pedals, while the other, the stoker (Christian, in this case), also pedals. This allows athletes with vision impairment to compete at high speeds.
