Christina Michelle Wilson, born on January 15, 1979, is a talented American chef. She is also known for being a personality on reality television. Christina won season 10 of the popular cooking show Hell's Kitchen. This show is broadcast on the FOX Network.

After winning, she became the head chef, called a chef de cuisine, at Gordon Ramsay Steak. This restaurant is located at the Paris Las Vegas hotel. In 2014, Christina became the Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay BurGR. This restaurant is at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. By 2015, she was the Corporate Executive Chef for the entire Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Group. From 2016, and then again from 2018 to 2023, she returned to Hell's Kitchen as a Sous-chef. From 2020 to 2023, she was also a Vice President of Culinary for Gordon Ramsay North America.

Early Life and Education

Christina Wilson grew up in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1997. While in high school, she was very active in sports. She played field hockey, basketball, and softball. Christina has three brothers. Her grandmother was a big inspiration for her to start cooking.

Christina received a basketball scholarship to attend West Chester University in Pennsylvania. However, she later lost this scholarship. To pay for her classes, she worked as a waitress. She then transferred to Temple University. In 2007, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Language Arts from Temple University.

Christina's Culinary Journey

Christina Wilson did not go to a special culinary school. Instead, she started her cooking career with a summer job at McDonald's when she was in high school. She says her first big cooking experience was at the West Chester Country Club. This club is in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She really wanted to learn, so she "begged to be allowed in the kitchen."

While studying at Temple University in Philadelphia, she began working in restaurants there. Before she won Hell's Kitchen in 2012, she was the head chef at Lolita BYOB in Philadelphia. To get ready for her job at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas, she completed a six-week training course.

Leading Gordon Ramsay Restaurants

In 2014, Christina left Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Las Vegas. She became the Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay BurGR. This restaurant was right next door at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. In 2017, Gordon Ramsay BurGR was renamed Gordon Ramsay Burger.

By 2015, Christina Wilson was overseeing all of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants in America. She was the Culinary Director for the American division of the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Group. At that time, this group included 10 restaurants.

From October 2020 to December 2023, Christina was the Vice President of Culinary for Gordon Ramsay North America. She also appeared on many seasons of Hell's Kitchen after her win. She was the red team's Sous-chef on seasons 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22.

Christina also made appearances on other TV shows. These included Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back, The F Word, and MasterChef Junior. In 2017, she even hosted her own 10-episode YouTube series. It was called Recipes from Hell's Kitchen.
