During his first year, he helped the team win the 1997–98 Svenska Cupen, which is a big cup competition in Sweden. The next year, in 1999, he was part of the team that won the 1999 Allsvenskan, the top Swedish football league.

In 2000, Christoffer played a key role in Helsingborg reaching the 2000–01 UEFA Champions League. This is a huge competition for top European clubs. He even scored a goal that helped his team beat BATE Borisov. Then, Helsingborg surprisingly beat the famous Italian club Inter Milan to get into the group stage. In the group stage, Christoffer played in five games against strong teams like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. In 2001, he was named "Årets HIF:are," which means Helsingborg's Player of the Year.

Time Abroad: Norway and Germany

In January 2004, Christoffer left Helsingborgs IF and moved to Norway. He signed a three-year contract with the club Lillestrøm SK.

After two and a half years in Norway, Christoffer moved to Germany. He joined Hannover 96, a team in the German Bundesliga, which is Germany's top league. However, he found it hard to get much playing time there. He only played in 7 league games for the club.

Return to Helsingborgs IF

In the summer of 2007, Christoffer Andersson came back to Helsingborgs IF after three years away. He quickly made a big difference to the team. He was very important in helping Helsingborg reach the Round of 32 in the 2007–08 UEFA Cup. This was another major European competition. Christoffer even scored the winning goal in an exciting 3–2 away victory against Galatasaray. In 2008, he was once again named "Årets HIF:are" for his great performance.

During his second time at Helsingborg, Christoffer won many more trophies. He helped the team win the Svenska Cupen in 2010 and 2011. They also won the 2011 Allsvenskan league title. On top of that, they won the Svenska Supercupen (Swedish Super Cup) in 2011 and 2012.
