The Church of Saints Joseph and Mary, also called the Sawyer Log Church, is a historic building in Sawyer, Minnesota. It was built in 1884 by people from the Ojibwe community. This church is one of the oldest Catholic churches built among the Ojibwe people in Minnesota. It is also one of the oldest churches in all of northern Minnesota. The church is special because it is one of the few old buildings in Carlton County that survived the big 1918 Cloquet Fire.
