The Church of the Sagrario (in Spanish: Iglesia del Sagrario) is a special building in Jaén, Spain. It is built right next to the north side of the famous Jaén Cathedral. This church was needed because the ground around the cathedral became uneven. This problem was caused by damage from the big Lisbon earthquake of 1755.
A famous architect from Madrid, Ventura Rodríguez, designed the church in 1764. His nephew, Manuel Martín Rodríguez, was in charge of building it. The Church of the Sagrario was officially opened in 1801. It was blessed on March 22 of that year.
