Churchville is a small village located in Monroe County, New York, United States. It is named after an early settler named Samuel Church.
In 2020, about 2,091 people lived here. The village is west of the City of Rochester. You can find it where Routes 33 and 36 meet. It is also north of Interstate 490.
Churchville Park and a golf course are just north of the village. They are near Hutton Circle and Kendall Road.

History of Churchville
The story of Churchville began in 1806. That year, Samuel Church bought the land that would become the village. This area was then known as West Pulteney.
The village officially became a village on September 21, 1852. It was named after Samuel Church because he owned all the land within its borders.
