Ciarán McMenamin (born 1 October 1975) is an actor and author from Northern Ireland. He is known for his roles in many TV shows and films.

Ciarán McMenamin's Early Life
Ciarán McMenamin was born in Enniskillen, a town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. He went to St Michael's College there. He loved acting from a young age. He took drama classes at Ardhowen Youth Theatre. Later, he worked with the Ulster Youth Theatre. In 1998, he earned his degree from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. This helped him start his acting career.
Acting Career Highlights
Ciarán McMenamin has appeared in many popular shows on BBC and ITV. One of his early big roles was in 1999. He played the main character in the BBC1 TV movie David Copperfield. This film was based on the famous book by Charles Dickens.
He also acted in an episode of Agatha Christie's Marple. This was called "4:50 From Paddington". In this mystery show, he played a character named Cedric Crackenthorpe. He was also part of the Channel 4 comedy series The Young Person's Guide To Becoming A Rock Star.
In 2012, Ciarán played a brave fireman named Frederick Barrett. This was in a TV movie called Saving The Titanic. The film told the story of the engineers and crew who tried to save the famous ship. More recently, from 2021 to 2024, he played Inspector Finn O'Hare in the TV series Hope Street.
