Cicero is a town located in Hamilton County, Indiana, United States. It is part of Jackson Township and sits north of the city of Indianapolis. In 2020, the town had a population of 5,301 people.
Cicero is also known for being the home of Ryan White, a young activist who inspired many people. He is buried in Cicero.

History of Cicero
Cicero was established in 1835. The town got its name from a nearby waterway called Cicero Creek. The first post office in Jackson Township opened in Cicero in 1839.
A big change came in 1956 with the building of Morse Reservoir. The northern part of this large lake is in Cicero. This project helped the town grow and develop even more.
Geography and Location
Cicero is located on the northeast shore of Morse Reservoir. This lake is a major feature of the town.
According to the 2010 census, Cicero covers about 2.12 square miles (5.49 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 1.71 square miles (4.43 square kilometers), is land. The remaining 0.41 square miles (1.06 square kilometers) is water, mainly from the reservoir.

Cicero has been mentioned in popular culture. An episode of the TV series Supernatural was set in Cicero, Indiana. However, the show's depiction was not very accurate to the real town.
Cicero Seventh-day Adventist Church is home to the Hope for Life television ministry. This ministry features Pastors Aaron Clark and Vic Van Schaik.
The town was also shown in the 1989 movie The Ryan White Story. The film showed Ryan White moving to Cicero. The town appears in the last two scenes of the movie.
