Cikwes is the stage name for a talented musician named Connie LeGrande. She is a Cree artist from Canada. Cikwes is well-known for her music, especially her 2022 album called Kâkîsimo ᑳᑮᓯᒧᐤ. This album was so good that it earned her a nomination for a Juno Award in 2023. The Juno Awards are like Canada's biggest music awards! She was nominated for the Traditional Indigenous Artist of the Year.
Cikwes is a member of the Bigstone Cree Nation. She lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta.
