Clark Creek is a stream that flows north through Wright County, in Missouri. It is a smaller stream that eventually joins a larger river called the Gasconade River.
Where Does Clark Creek Start and End?
Clark Creek begins its journey just west of a town called Norwood. From there, it flows north. The stream passes under a major road, U. S. Route 60, near its starting point.
How Does Clark Creek Flow?
As Clark Creek continues its path north, it flows for about eleven miles past Norwood. It also goes under another road, Missouri Route 38. This crossing happens about five miles east of Hartville. Soon after this, Clark Creek meets and joins the Gasconade River.
Why Is It Called Clark Creek?
The name "Clark Creek" was given to this stream to honor an early settler in the area. This person was a pioneer citizen who helped establish the community.
