Claverack-Red Mills, often simply called Claverack, is a small community in Columbia County, New York, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a specific area the government counts for population. In 2020, about 953 people lived here.
The community is located in the western part of the larger town of Claverack. Its name comes from two smaller areas, or hamlets: Claverack and Red Mills. Claverack-Red Mills has several old and interesting buildings. For many years, from 1779 to 1902, a school called Claverack College was open in the village.

Claverack-Red Mills is found in the western part of the town of Claverack. Its exact location is 42°13′31″N 73°43′17″W / 42.22528°N 73.72139°W.

The center of the Claverack hamlet is where three main roads meet: Route 9H, Route 23, and Route 23B.
- Route 23B goes northwest about 4 miles (6 km) to Hudson.
- Route 9H goes north about 13 miles (21 km) to Kinderhook.
- Route 23 goes east about 12 miles (19 km) to Hillsdale and 15 miles (24 km) to the Massachusetts border.
- Routes 9H and 23 together go south about 4 miles (6 km) to U.S. Route 9 in the town of Livingston.
The Red Mills area is about 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Claverack hamlet, along Route 23. From Red Mills, Route 217 goes northeast about 4 miles (6 km) to Philmont.
