Clarence R. "Clay" Drayton (born August 4, 1947) is an American musician. He is known for writing songs, arranging music, and producing records. Clay Drayton also plays the bass and guitar. He is most famous for his work with Motown, a very important record company.
One of his big achievements was arranging the music for Diana Ross's hit song, "Love ...." This song became a "gold record," meaning it sold a lot of copies!
