Early Life and Education
Claydee was born in Tirana, Albania. When he was four years old, his family moved to Athens, Greece. After finishing high school, he studied Audio Engineering and earned a degree in Recording Arts in 2007. In 2008, he started working at MTV Greece.
Rising to Fame
Claydee released his first song, "Call Me," in 2011. It won the Best Dance Video Clip award at the MADTv Awards. His second song was "Deep Inside," a fun pop-dance track.
In 2012, he released the huge international hit "Mamacita Buena." This song became the most-viewed Greek-produced song on YouTube at the time. It also reached number one on the radio charts in Greece. The song was even featured in the TV show Telenovela, starring Eva Longoria. Claydee was nominated for a Best Greek Act Award at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
His song "... Papi" became a number one hit in Greece, Poland, and Serbia. In 2013, Coca-Cola in Greece chose him for their summer tour. He performed in many countries, including Canada, the United States, and Italy.
Starting a Music Company
In 2010, Claydee teamed up with his friend Evan Klimakis to create "Down2Earth Music." This company helps artists and works in the music industry. They also launched Down2Earth Records, a record label for dance music. Their YouTube channel has gained over 1 billion views and 1 million subscribers!
Music in Games and Movies
In 2015, Claydee released the song "Utopia" with his side project, Bang La Decks. This song was featured in the video game FIFA 15 and TV shows like Power and Teen Wolf. A special version of the song, "How Bad Do You Want It," was even included in the soundtrack for the movie Furious 7.
One of his songs reached number 12 on the Worldwide Shazam Chart and has been streamed over 150 million times on Spotify. This song was later used in a commercial for Desperados beer in 2020. It became Platinum in France and Gold in Germany!

He produced "The End" by Reckless, which was released by Sony Music Greece and did very well in the UK Club Charts. He also wrote and produced "Last Summer" for Nikos Ganos, which was named Track of the Year at the 2011 MAD TV Awards. This song was released in Greece and 35 other countries.
In 2011, he co-wrote "Tonight" with Playmen, sung by Tamta. This song reached number one on the radio charts in Greece. He also wrote songs for famous artists like Kostas Martakis and Sakis Rouvas.
