Becoming President

Clemente Yerovi became the interim president of Ecuador on March 30, 1966. He took over from Telmo Vargas. His job was to lead the country temporarily. He served in this role until November 16, 1966. After his time as president, Otto Arosemena became the next leader.

Clemente Yerovi died on July 19, 1981, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He was 76 years old.
