Clinton Eugene McDaniel (born February 26, 1972) is a former American professional basketball player. He played as a Shooting guard. Clint was known for his skills on the court, especially during his time with the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. He also played college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
In February 2022, Clint McDaniel was honored by his old high school, Booker T. Washington. He was added to their Ring of Honor during a special ceremony.
Clint's College Basketball Journey
Clint McDaniel was a talented 6-foot-4-inch guard who played for the University of Arkansas. He was a very important player on the team that won the National Championship in 1994. They beat Duke University with a score of 76–72.
Clint grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was considered one of the best defenders in college basketball. This means he was excellent at stopping other players from scoring.
During his college career, Clint achieved several honors:

Playing in the NBA and Beyond
After his successful college career, Clint McDaniel went on to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He joined the Sacramento Kings as a free agent during the 1995–96 NBA season. He also signed with the Washington Wizards in the 1996–97 season, but was later released.
Clint also played professionally in Europe. He played in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). There, he played for teams like the Perth Wildcats and the South East Melbourne Magic.
In 2014, Clint McDaniel received the special SEC Men's Basketball Legends Award. He is also one of only two players in the history of the SEC (Southeastern Conference) to ever get more than 100 steals in a single season, with 102 steals. He was named to the AP 3rd Team All-Conference in 1995. He was also part of the 1995 Final Four All-Tournament Team.
