Clinton is a small village located in Sheridan County, Nebraska, in the United States. It was named after Clinton, Iowa. In 2010, about 41 people lived there.

How Clinton Began

Clinton started in the 1880s. This was when the Fremont, Elkhorn, & Missouri Valley Railroad built tracks to the area. Even though people lived there, Clinton did not officially become a village until 1920.
