Coat of arms of Bulgaria facts for kids
The coat of arms of Bulgaria is a special symbol for the country. It shows a powerful golden lion wearing a crown. This lion stands on a dark red shield. Above the shield, there is a historical Bulgarian crown.
Two more crowned golden lions stand on either side, holding up the shield. Below the shield, there are two crossed oak branches. White ribbons are wrapped around these branches. On the ribbons, you can read the national motto: "Unity makes strength." This motto reminds everyone that being united makes a country strong.
