Coca is a small town in central Spain. It is part of the province of Segovia, in the region of Castile and Leon. Coca is about 50 kilometers (31 miles) northwest of the city of Segovia. It is also 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Valladolid.
This town is famous for its amazing Coca Castle. This castle was built in the 15th century. It shows a special building style called Mudéjar. Coca is also known as the birthplace of Theodosius I. He was a Roman Emperor born there in 347 CE. In 2023, about 1741 people lived in Coca. For many years, Coca was also home to a Jewish community.
