Cody Lundin was born on March 15, 1967. He is a well-known survival instructor and TV personality. Cody teaches people important skills at his school, the Aboriginal Living Skills School, which he started in 1991 in Prescott, Arizona. He shows students how to survive in the wild, use old-fashioned living methods, and prepare for emergencies in cities. Many people also know him from the TV show Dual Survival on the Discovery Channel.

Cody's Early Life and Education

Cody Lundin grew up as an only child. His father was in the military, so Cody's family moved around a lot when he was young. They eventually settled in Laramie, Wyoming, where Cody went to junior high and high school.

After finishing high school, Cody lived in different places, including on the streets and in a shared community. He even lived in a simple brush shelter while he was going to college in Prescott, Arizona. Cody studied at Prescott College, where he earned a special degree in understanding how the mind works and how to live a healthy life.

Living Off-Grid

Cody Lundin lives in a unique home that he designed himself. It's an off-the-grid house, which means it's not connected to public utilities like electricity or water lines. His home is a passive solar earth home located in the desert wilderness of northern Arizona. He collects rainwater for his needs and composts his waste. By living this way, Cody doesn't have to pay for utilities.
