Cody Webster's College Football Career
Cody played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers. While there, he studied agriculture. He was the main punter for the Boilermakers for four seasons. These were the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons.
Record-Breaking Punts and Awards
In 2010, Cody kicked a 79-yard punt against Northwestern. This was the longest punt of his college career. Even as a freshman, he was fifth in the Big Ten conference for punting average.
Cody earned many honors during his college years:
- He received honorable mention All-Big Ten honors in 2010 and 2012.
- He was named second-team All-Big Ten in 2011.
- In 2013, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors.
- As a senior, Cody led the entire Big Ten conference in punting average.
