College Corner is a small village located in the southwestern part of Ohio. It sits right on the border between Butler and Preble counties.
This unique village is about 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Oxford. What makes College Corner special is that it shares a border with the town of West College Corner in Indiana. In fact, the public school in College Corner is built right on the state line! It is managed by both Ohio and Indiana authorities.

History of College Corner
College Corner was first settled in 1811. It got its name because it is located in the northwestern part of what was called "College Township." This township was chosen in 1810 by the Ohio General Assembly as the future home for a state college. That college later became Miami University.
The village of College Corner itself was officially planned and laid out in 1837.

College Corner is found in two different townships. These are Oxford Township in Butler County and Israel Township in Preble County.
