Colton Yellow Horn (born May 5, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He plays as a left winger, meaning he plays on the left side of the ice. He recently played for the Coventry Blaze team in the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).

Playing Career Highlights
Early Junior Hockey Years
Colton Yellow Horn began playing major junior hockey in 2003. He played in the Western Hockey League (WHL). His teams were the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Tri-City Americans. He was a strong scorer in junior hockey. He often scored more than one point per game.
In the 2007–08 season, he scored 48 goals, which was the most in the league. He also had 97 points, ranking third overall. This was his best junior career season. He was even named to the WHL West First All-Star Team. Even with his great scoring, no NHL team chose him in their draft.
Starting as a Professional Player
In 2008–09, Yellow Horn became a professional player. He went to Austria to play for EC Red Bull Salzburg. This team was in the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL). Later that season, he moved back to North America. He signed with the Elmira Jackals in a smaller league called the ECHL. In 2009, he was traded to the Stockton Thunder.
Playing in the AHL
During the 2012–13 season, Yellow Horn moved up to a higher league. He was called from the Ontario Reign (ECHL) to the Manchester Monarchs. This team played in the American Hockey League (AHL). He showed his scoring skills there. He got 18 points in just 28 games. He stayed with the Monarchs for the rest of that year.
Playing Overseas Again
In 2013, Yellow Horn decided to go back to Europe. He signed a one-year deal with Hungarian team SAPA Fehérvár AV19. This team also played in the Austrian Hockey League. In 2014, he signed with the Japanese team Nippon Paper Cranes. They played in the ALIH league.
In 2015, Yellow Horn joined the Czech team Orli Znojmo. They also played in the Austrian Hockey League. He had a great 2015–16 season. He scored 28 goals and had 29 assists. He also did well in the playoffs. He won the Ron Kennedy Trophy, which is given to the EBEL's Most Valuable Player.
After a short time with HC Plzeň in the Czech Extraliga, Yellow Horn returned to Orli Znojmo. In 2018, he signed with the Graz 99ers, another EBEL team. He later played for HK Nitra in Slovak Extraliga and HSC Csíkszereda in the Erste Liga.
Playing in the UK
For the 2021–22 season, Yellow Horn joined the Glasgow Clan. This team plays in the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). After one season with Glasgow, he moved to another Elite League team. He signed with the Coventry Blaze for the 2022–23 season.

Colton Yellow Horn grew up in the Piikani Nation tribe. This tribe is located in Brocket, Alberta.
