History of the İskenderpaşa Community
The İskenderpaşa Community started with a respected religious leader named Mehmed Zahid Kotku (1897–1980). He began this community when he became the imam (a leader in a mosque) at the İskender Pasha Mosque. This mosque is located in the Fatih area of Istanbul, a famous city in Turkey.
