Condoto is an important town and municipality in Colombia, located in the Chocó Department. It's known for its rich natural resources, especially valuable minerals like gold and platinum. Because of this, Condoto is often called the "Platinum Capital of Colombia." It's one of the most significant places in the Chocó region, after cities like Quibdó and Istmina.
