Conilhac-de-la-Montagne (say it like: koh-nee-yak duh lah mon-tan-yuh) was once a small commune in southern France. A commune is like a small town or village with its own local government. It was located in the Aude department, which is a region in France.
On January 1, 2019, Conilhac-de-la-Montagne joined with another commune called Roquetaillade. Together, they formed a new, larger commune named Roquetaillade-et-Conilhac. This means Conilhac-de-la-Montagne is no longer a separate commune on its own.
In 2021, the population of Conilhac-de-la-Montagne was 67 people. It has always been a very small place.
