The shell's color is often a dark brown, like chestnut or chocolate. It has small white spots or patches. These white spots often form a faint band around the "shoulder" of the shell. Another band of spots can be seen below the middle of the shell. The white spots are also scattered across the rest of the shell's surface. This includes the rounded spire, which is the pointy top part of the shell.
Where Does the Conus Cuneolus Snail Live?
This snail lives in the Atlantic Ocean. You can find it near the Cape Verdes islands. Specifically, it lives only in the southwestern part of the island of Sal. This means it is a very special snail found in only one small area of the world.
