Discovering the Pirulil Range
The Pirulil Range is a chain of hills and mountains. It is located on Chiloé Island, which is a large island off the coast of Chile. This range is known for its beautiful natural landscapes.
Where the Range Is Located
The Pirulil Range is found in the southern half of Chiloé Island. Its western side faces the vast Pacific Ocean. To the north, the range ends at Cucao Lake. Beyond this lake, you can find another mountain chain called the Cordillera del Piuchén. To the south, the Pirulil Range reaches all the way to the Corcovado Gulf.
Part of a Larger System
The Pirulil Range is not alone. It is actually a part of a much bigger group of mountains called the Chilean Coast Range. This larger range runs along a big part of Chile's coastline. Think of it like a long spine of land that stretches for many kilometers. The Pirulil Range is one of the important sections of this long coastal spine.
