He was named an all-state player. Corey also received other awards. He was named All-Erie Shore Conference. He was also an all-district player. Plus, he was chosen as the Erie Shore Conference Player of the Year.
College Football Career
After high school, Corey Croom went on to play college football. He played for the Ball State Cardinals. He became a very important player for his team.
Achievements at Ball State
In 1992, Corey won the John Magnabosco Award. This award is given to the Cardinals' most valuable player. He was also chosen twice for the Mid-American Conference first-team.
