Corn & Peg is a fun Canadian animated TV show for kids. It's made by Nelvana for Nick Jr. and Treehouse TV. The show is all about two best friends, a unicorn named Corn and a pegasus named Peg. They are super helpful and always try to make their town, Galloping Grove, a better place.

The show first aired in the United States on February 22, 2019. Its official premiere was on March 4. Good news for fans: a second season was announced on April 5, 2019!

What's the Show About?

Corn & Peg follows the exciting adventures of two amazing friends. There's Corn, a blue unicorn, and Peg, a pink pegasus. They've been best friends since preschool. They love their favorite superhero, Captain Thunderhoof.

Inspired by Captain Thunderhoof, Corn and Peg go around their town, Galloping Grove. They always look for ways to help others. Their goal is to make their community a better place for everyone.

Meet the Characters

Main Characters

  • Corn (voiced by Jaiden Cannatelli in Season 1-2, and Niko Ceci in Season 2): Corn is a blue unicorn with a darker blue mane. He wears a cool red jacket. He really looks up to Captain Thunderhoof. Corn wants to spend his life doing good deeds with Peg. He used to be shy until he met Peg in preschool. Corn can use his horn to make light or cut things. He can be a bit silly and clumsy, and he loves to eat. But he's a very loyal friend and always encourages Peg.
  • Peg (voiced by Shechinah Mpumlwana): Peg is a pink pegasus with a golden-yellow mane and tail, decorated with flowers. She wears a turquoise dress. Peg is Corn's best friend, and you rarely see them apart. Like Corn, she also admires Captain Thunderhoof. She is dedicated to helping others. Since she's a pegasus, she can fly! Her wings are small, so she can't fly super high or for a long time. Peg is also quite strong for her size. She enjoys laughing at Corn's funny moments and doesn't get annoyed by his goofiness.
  • Captain Thunderhoof (voiced by Julie Sype): She is a white alicorn with a sky blue mane and tail. Captain Thunderhoof is a superhero who has her own TV show. She is a role model for Corn and Peg. Most people in Galloping Grove are big fans of her. Corn and Peg can call her for help by shining their horn and wings. They only do this when there's a real emergency. She is powerful, but her weakness is ice, which can freeze her superpowers.

Other Friends and Neighbors

  • Ferris (voiced by Shayle Simons): He is an orange pony with an orange Afro. Ferris is one of Corn and Peg's closest friends. He loves carrots and Captain Thunderhoof. Sometimes, he has a bit of bad luck.
  • Clarissa (voiced by Ava Close): She is a pink pony with a blue mane and a blue jacket. Clarissa is another friend of Corn and Peg. She loves fashion and leads a cheerleading team called the Posies. She's a huge fan of Twinkle Piggy and recently became a big sister.
  • Ferdy (voiced by Jackson Reid): Ferdy is Ferris's little brother. He loves Corn and Peg but often gets into mischief. Because he's so young, his words can sometimes be a little mixed up.
  • Mayor Montagu (voiced by Neil Crone): He is the mayor of Galloping Grove. He's a tan horse with a brown mustache, wearing a dark blue suit and top hat. He works hard to make sure Galloping Grove is the best it can be. When Corn and Peg meet him, they always say, "How do, Mayor Montagu?"
  • Farmer Shire (voiced by Katie Griffin): She is Galloping Grove's farmer. She often needs help keeping her animals in order. Corn and Peg frequently help her with this.
  • Todd (voiced by Josh Graham): Todd is a friend who runs the comic book store. He sometimes runs out of popular items quickly, which can be a little disappointing for Corn and Peg.
  • Miss Sassy (voiced by Stacey Depass): She is a horse who owns a clothing store. She wears high-heels on all four hooves!
  • Carrier Pintock (voiced by Paloma Nuñez): She is Galloping Grove's mail-delivery horse.
  • Penny Pintock (voiced by Bryn McAuley): Penny is Carrier Pintock's best friend and sister. She lives in a town called Trottingham.
  • Pippa (voiced by Elana Dunkelman): Pippa is a pilot who takes Corn and Peg to places outside of Galloping Grove.
  • Chef Rigatoni (voiced by Mac Heywood): He is a professional chef whom Peg really looks up to.
  • Sheriff Swiftstone (voiced by Doug Murray): He is a police officer who keeps Galloping Grove safe and makes sure everyone follows the rules.
  • Paolo (voiced by Christian Distefano): Paolo is a friend Corn and Peg meet at school. He is very talented at beat-boxing.
  • Jordy (voiced by Chloe Bryer): Jordy is a young foal who wants to be a trailblazer like Corn and Peg. She sometimes has a short attention span and accidentally causes problems.
  • The Backsteed Boys (voiced by Cory Doran, Danny Smith, Deven Mack and Anthony Sardinha): They are a popular boy band that everyone in Galloping Grove loves, especially Corn and Peg. They are a fun parody of the real-life band, the Backstreet Boys.
