History of Corwin
Corwin started out as a special stop, called a depot, on the Little Miami Railroad. This was a place where trains could stop to pick up or drop off passengers and goods.
A post office opened in Corwin in 1898, which helped people send and receive mail. It stayed open until 1918. The village got its name from Thomas Corwin, who was an important person in Ohio's history. He served as the 15th Governor of Ohio.
