Tyson Coy Stewart (born June 24, 1998), known as Swim, is an American actor, rapper, and singer. He used to be known as Koi. Coy Stewart has been in many TV shows and movies.

He played Kevin in the TV show Are We There Yet?. He was also Flint in the superhero show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Kids might know him as Marcus from The Electric Company or Troy in Bella and the Bulldogs on Nickelodeon. He also played Lorenzo in the Netflix show Mr. Iglesias.

Coy Stewart also used his voice for Benson in the Netflix cartoon Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.

In 2019, Stewart started a music group called Grouptherapy. His friends and fellow actors Jadagrace and Tyrel Jackson Williams are also in the group.

Early life

Coy Stewart was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He became interested in acting when he was young. He liked to say lines from popular TV shows.

He joined a talent agency in Columbia. Then, he acted in a play called A Raisin in the Sun. He played the character Travis Younger.

Career

Acting career

Coy Stewart started his acting career in 2010. His first big role was Kevin Kingston in the TV show Are We There Yet?. This show was on TBS.

In 2011, Coy won an award for his acting. He got the Young Artists Award for Best Supporting Young Actor. This was for his role as Kevin. In the same year, he played Marcus Barnes. This was on The Electric Company, an educational show for kids.

In 2012, Coy's father, Derek Stewart, wrote a book. It was called The Unlikely Journey. The book tells the story of Coy's journey into acting.

Coy also played Troy Dixon in the Nickelodeon show Bella and the Bulldogs. He was Xavier in the web series WTH: Welcome to Howler in 2016. Later, in 2017, he joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He played a young character named Flint. In 2018, Stewart got a role in the Netflix show Mr. Iglesias. He played Lorenzo in that show.

Musical career

Coy Stewart, along with his friends Tyrel Jackson Williams and Jadagrace, started a music group. The group is called "Grouptherapy".

On April 1, 2020, the group released their first music collection. It was called this is not the album. They later released another collection of songs. This was called there goes the neighborhood. It came out on October 30, 2020. Their first full album was released on June 27, 2023. It is titled "I Was Mature for my Age, But I Was Still a Child".
