Story of Kipo's Adventures

Life in a Post-Apocalyptic World

By the 23rd century, animals have changed. They became "mutes," which are human-like creatures. Most mutes fought against humans. This forced most humans to live underground. These underground cities are called burrows. The world above, called "Las Vistas," became a wasteland.

Kipo's Journey Begins

In the first season, Kipo Oak is a thirteen-year-old human girl. A giant mutated spider monkey attacks her burrow. Kipo gets separated from her father, Lio. She travels through Las Vistas. She meets Wolf, a tough girl who survived alone. Wolf was raised by wolves. Kipo also meets Benson, a cheerful boy, and his insect friend Dave. Mandu, a mutant pig, joins them too.

Together, they search for the burrow where Kipo's people fled. Kipo discovers something amazing. She has the DNA of a giant jaguar inside her. She can partly turn into a jaguar. They meet many mute friends and enemies. One enemy is Scarlemagne. He is a mandrill mute. He wants to control humans with his special scent. He plans to rule Las Vistas with a human army.

Discovering Kipo's Past

In the second season, Kipo tries to save her people. Scarlemagne has captured them. Kipo also wants to learn about her mute powers. She finds out her parents gave her mute DNA before she was born. This made her a half-human, half-jaguar hybrid. Kipo also learns her mother, Song, is alive. Song was thought to be gone. She is actually the mega monkey who attacked Kipo's burrow.

Song mutated because of Kipo's birth. She is also being controlled by Dr. Emilia. Dr. Emilia used to work with Kipo's parents. Now, Emilia wants to turn mutes back into normal animals. She believes humans should rule the surface again. Kipo also learns that Scarlemagne was once a normal mandrill named Hugo. Kipo's parents raised him as their son. But they had to leave him, and he grew to hate them.

These discoveries make Kipo lose control of her powers. She risks turning into a mega jaguar forever. But her friends and family help her regain control. She defeats Scarlemagne. She also frees her mother, Song. However, Dr. Emilia has convinced most of Kipo's people to join her.

Peace in Las Vistas

In the third season, Kipo forms a group. It's called the "Human Mute Ultimate Friendship Alliance." They want to stop Dr. Emilia. But Kipo finds it hard to make humans and mutes work together. Emilia creates a cure against mutes using Kipo's DNA. Kipo uses this cure to turn her mother human again.

Finally, Kipo succeeds in making peace. Humans and mutes learn to live together. Dr. Emilia's plans are ruined. She refuses to accept the change. Emilia turns herself into a mega mute. She tries to kill Kipo and her friends. But Scarlemagne helps Kipo. He sacrifices himself to save her. Five years later, Kipo lives happily on the surface. Humans and mutes live together in peace.
