Craig Minervini is an American sportscaster who works in Miami, Florida. He is well-known for hosting and commenting on sports broadcasts for Bally Sports Florida. He hosts the Marlins Live shows, which are about the Miami Marlins baseball team. He also used to host the Panthers Live shows for the Florida Panthers hockey team.

Craig Minervini's Career in Sports

From 1987 to 1988, Craig Minervini also worked for the World Wrestling Federation (which is now known as WWE). He used the name Craig DeGeorge and was a host and interviewer. He also worked as a commentator for the Universal Wrestling Federation.

He was a main broadcaster for Roller Hockey International on ESPN2. He also hosted a show called RHI Rewind on that network. Between 1989 and 1995, he was a sports anchor at WPBF in West Palm Beach, Florida. He later went to work at WTVJ in Miami.

In 2004, he started hosting a daily radio show in Miami. This was when the Panthers hired Dave Strader to be the voice of their TV broadcasts.

In 2015, Minervini rejoined the Panthers broadcast team. He became a host for their pregame and postgame shows, similar to his work with the Marlins.

Minervini has also called Panthers radio games. He has filled in as a play-by-play announcer for the Marlins. He has also done play-by-play for many other sports. These include Notre Dame football on NBC, CBS Sports Spectacular, the United Football League, and the College World Series on ESPN. He has also covered Major League Soccer, XFL on TNN and UPN, boxing on TNN, and mixed martial arts on TNN. He has also announced for Syracuse Chiefs AAA baseball, and Syracuse Orange football, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer.

Craig Minervini has two sons, Chase and Maxwell, and one daughter, Spencer. Their mother is Martha Sugalski, who is also a television journalist.
