Craig Wilson, born on November 28, 1964, is a former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for parts of five seasons. From 1989 to 1993, he mostly played as a third baseman. He also played second base and in the outfield.

Craig Wilson's Early Life and Education
Craig Wilson was born in Annapolis, Maryland. His parents were Bernice and Calvin. He loved sports from a young age. He played both high school football and baseball at Annapolis High School.
College Choices
After high school, Craig had a big decision to make. He was offered a scholarship to play college football at Howard University. However, he chose to play college baseball instead. He attended Anne Arundel Community College to pursue his baseball dreams.
Professional Baseball Career
Craig Wilson's journey to professional baseball began in 1984. He was chosen by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 20th round of the 1984 Major League Baseball Draft.
Playing for the Cardinals
Craig played in the Cardinals' organization for many years. He made it to the Major League level in 1989. He continued to play for the Cardinals in the MLB until 1992.
Moving to the Royals
After the 1992 season, Craig Wilson was traded. He and another player, Félix José, went to the Kansas City Royals. In return, the Cardinals received Gregg Jeffries and a minor league player.
