Crawford is a small town located in central Texas, United States. It's part of McLennan County, near the city of Waco. As of the 2020 census, about 887 people live there.
The town officially became a town on August 12, 1897. Crawford is perhaps best known as the home of the 43rd president of the United States, George W. Bush. He lives part-time at his Prairie Chapel Ranch, which is just outside Crawford.

George W. Bush's Ranch
Crawford became very well-known because President George W. Bush has his Prairie Chapel Ranch located just outside the town. While he was president, he often spent time there.

A documentary film called Crawford was even made in 2008. It explored how the town changed after President Bush moved nearby.
