Crawford is a small town located in central Texas, United States. It's part of McLennan County, near the city of Waco. As of the 2020 census, about 887 people live there.
The town officially became a town on August 12, 1897. Crawford is perhaps best known as the home of the 43rd president of the United States, George W. Bush. He lives part-time at his Prairie Chapel Ranch, which is just outside Crawford.
