The Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was a yummy chocolate bar made by Cadbury UK. It was a milk chocolate bar filled with the gooey, sweet fondant that you find inside a Cadbury Creme Egg.
This special chocolate bar first came out in 2008. Cadbury created it because many people loved the creamy filling of the Creme Egg so much that they wanted to enjoy it all year round, not just at Easter. Before the Twisted bar, you could sometimes find the Creme Egg filling inside other Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates. But the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted took its place!
In 2011, the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was also sold in Australia. However, it didn't stay on shelves for long because not many people bought it there.

What was the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted?
The Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was a unique chocolate bar. It was designed to give fans of the classic Creme Egg a way to enjoy its famous gooey center any time. It featured smooth milk chocolate on the outside and the soft, sweet fondant on the inside.
This bar was launched in 2008 and was discontinued in 2012. Interestingly, it made a secret comeback in 2013 for a short time before being discontinued again. So, if you're looking for the original Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted today, you won't find it!
Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted Minis
Cadbury also made a smaller version called Creme Egg Twisted Minis. These were tiny chocolate treats, each with a soft Creme Egg filling. They were first launched in 2009. You can still find these mini versions today in some Cadbury chocolate mixes, like the Cadbury Heroes boxes or sharing packs.
Advertising the Twisted Bar
When the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted first came out, Cadbury made some fun TV commercials to tell everyone about it. In May 2008, an advert was shown on TV channels like ITV and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom.
The commercial showed a Creme Egg melting inside its wrapper in different funny ways. As it melted, it would change into the new Twisted bar. The melting egg would even yell "Goo!" and sometimes "spit" out some of its gooey filling before repeating "Goo!" at the end of the advert. It was a very memorable way to introduce the new chocolate bar!
