The Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was a special chocolate bar made by Cadbury UK. It was a milk chocolate bar filled with the yummy, gooey fondant from a Cadbury Creme Egg. This treat was first introduced in 2008.
Cadbury created the Creme Egg Twisted because customers really liked the creamy center of the Creme Egg. They wanted to enjoy that special fondant all year round, not just at Easter. Before this, the Creme Egg filling was sometimes used in Cadbury Dairy Milk bars. But the Creme Egg Twisted took its place. Today, you can still find a mini version of the Creme Egg filling in Cadbury's Heroes chocolate boxes in the UK.
In 2011, the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was also sold in Australia. However, it was taken off the shelves a few months later because it wasn't very popular there.

Advertising the Twisted Treat
In May 2008, a fun advertisement for the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was shown on TV channels like ITV and Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. The commercial showed a Creme Egg melting inside its wrapper. As it melted, it changed into a Creme Egg Twisted bar. During the ad, the chocolate would yell "Goo!" and even "spit" out some of its gooey filling. It would repeat "Goo!" again when the advertisement finished.
Different Kinds of Creme Egg Twisted
There were a couple of different versions of the Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted.
The Original Creme Egg Twisted Bar
- This was a milk chocolate bar with a soft, gooey Creme Egg fondant center.
- It first came out in 2007.
- It was stopped in 2012, but then secretly brought back in 2013. After that, it was discontinued again.
Creme Egg Twisted Minis
- These were smaller chocolate pieces, like little parcels, also filled with the soft Creme Egg fondant.
- They were launched in 2009.
- As of August 2025, these mini versions are still available. You can find them in Cadbury's Heroes chocolate assortments or in special sharing packs.
