A Glimpse into Creston's History
Creston began its journey in the 1860s. This was when the railroad tracks were built and reached this area. Before it was called Creston, it had another name: Pike Station. A post office opened there under the name Pike Station in 1865. Later, in 1881, the name was officially changed to Creston.
