About Cristina Pedroche
Cristina Pedroche was born in Madrid, Spain, on October 30, 1988. She studied Business Administration and Tourism at King Juan Carlos University. While studying, she also started working as a TV reporter.
She became very popular in 2010. This was when she joined the comedy show Sé lo que hicisteis... on La Sexta channel. She worked there as a TV reporter until 2011. From August 2011 to June 2012, she was a reporter for another comedy show called Otra movida.
In September 2012, Cristina started working on the radio. She joined the program Yu, no te pierdas nada on Los 40 principales. In December 2013, she became part of the TV comedy show Zapeando on La Sexta. She often participated in fun segments on the show.
Hosting Big Events
In December 2014, Cristina Pedroche started working with the media group Atresmedia. She hosted the New Year's Eve broadcast for 2014-2015 on La Sexta. She did this alongside Frank Blanco. This event is famous in Spain for the "Twelve Grapes" tradition.
In 2015, she left Zapeando to host a reality TV game show. This was the fifth Spanish season of Pekín Express. It was her first time hosting a show by herself.
On October 24, 2015, Cristina married the Spanish chef David Muñoz.
She continued to host the New Year's Eve "Twelve Grapes" broadcast. She hosted it for 2015-2016 with Carlos Sobera on Antena 3. She also hosted it for 2016-2017 with Alberto Chicote. She became well-known for the special dresses she wore each year.
In 2016, she hosted the sixth season of Pekín Express again. From January 2017, she hosted the talent show Tú sí que sí on La Sexta. She also hosted the New Year's Eve show for 2018.
In April 2021, Cristina became the host of Love Island España. This is the Spanish version of the popular British reality show.
