Cristinelli "Cristy" Salazar Fermin, born on July 23, 1956, is a well-known Filipino talk show host. She studied journalism at the Lyceum of the Philippines University.

Cristy Fermin's Career Journey
Early Days in Journalism
Cristy Fermin began her career writing about important news and events. Soon, she started writing for newspapers that focused on movie stars and famous people.
Becoming a TV Host
Her first time on television was in 1987. She became the main host of a weekend show called Movie Magazine on GMA Network. This show talked about showbiz news.
In 1992, another TV station, ABS-CBN, asked her to host a Sunday talk show. This show was called Showbiz Lingo, and she hosted it with Butch Francisco. At first, she hosted both Movie Magazine and Showbiz Lingo.
However, in 1994, Cristy Fermin decided to work only for ABS-CBN. She left Movie Magazine and GMA Network. ABS-CBN then gave her a daily talk show called Cristy Per Minute, which started in 1995. During this time, she lived in Valenzuela, Metro Manila.
Hosting More Talk Shows
Cristy Fermin also hosted another ABS-CBN show called S2: Showbiz Sabado. She worked with Edu Manzano and Alfie Lorenzo on this show. After S2 ended, she joined The Buzz. She was one of the main hosts there, along with Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino.
In 2008, Cristy Fermin took a break from The Buzz and a radio show called Showbiz Mismo. This happened because of a disagreement with former actress Nadia Montenegro.
Moving to New Networks
In 2010, Cristy Fermin moved to TV5. She became one of the main hosts of a weekly showbiz talk show called Paparazzi. She hosted this show with Mo Twister and Ruffa Gutierrez. She also co-hosted Juicy! with Alex Gonzaga and IC Mendoza.
On November 8, 2010, she started her radio show again. Her entertainment news program, Cristy FerMinute, began airing on Radyo5 92.3 News FM. This show is also shown on TV channels like AksyonTV, One PH, and True TV.
Paparazzi ended on July 28, 2012, and Juicy! ended on August 3. Cristy Fermin then started hosting Ang Latest on August 4 of the same year.
