Cromberg is a small community in Plumas County, California, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). Cromberg is located along the Western Pacific Railroad, about 6.5 miles (10.5 km) northwest of Blairsden. In 2020, about 272 people lived there.

History of Cromberg
Cromberg has had a few different names over the years, including Twenty-Mile House, Taft, and Teft.
The post office in Cromberg has opened and closed several times. It first opened in 1880. Then it closed in 1912, reopened in 1919, closed again in 1931, and finally reopened in 1950.
