Crystal Springs is a special kind of community called a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It's located on the southeast side of Pigeon Lake. This spot is about 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) north of Highway 13. Crystal Springs is right next to the Summer Village of Grandview to the northwest and the Village at Pigeon Lake to the south.

When did Crystal Springs become a summer village?
Crystal Springs officially became a summer village on January 1, 1957. Before this, it was part of a larger area known as the Municipal District of Wetaskiwin No. 74. Becoming a summer village means it gained its own local government. This allows it to manage local services, especially for people who visit or live there during the summer.
