In 2011, Ricky L. Thomas helped bring back the Ludwig Ball Park. This park was built in 1968 for baseball and softball. After being unused for many years, it was fixed up. A reunion was held in July 2011 for all past players. Ricky Thomas gave Coach Billy Dubois a special framed picture of his Louisiana-Arkansas All Star team. A TV station in Shreveport, KTBS, even showed a story about the park.
