What is Cybergirl About?
Cybergirl is a blue superhero from another planet. She is a special "Human Prototype 6000". On Earth, she lives a secret life as a normal teenage girl named Ashley Campbell.
Cybergirl's Amazing Powers
Cybergirl has many cool powers. She has super-human strength and super-human speed. She can also connect directly with electronic devices and computers. Cybergirl can change her look too. She can switch between her blue-haired, glowing Cybergirl form and her more ordinary, mousy-haired Ashley form. She can even change her clothes whenever she wants!
Her Origin Story
Cybergirl was originally known as the Cyber Replicant Human Prototype 6000. She was the only one of her kind ever built. Her powers are much stronger than earlier models. She also has a wider range of feelings than those before her. She ran away from her home planet. She wanted to learn more about humans, who she was designed to be like.
Enemies and Friends on Earth
Two evil red replicants, Isaac and Xanda, are sent to Earth to destroy Cybergirl. She lands in River City, Australia, which is a fictional city based on Brisbane. She meets Jackson and Hugh Campbell, who take her in. She decides to use "Cybergirl" as her superhero name.
Jackson calls her "Cy" for short. Later, she uses her powers to look more human. This is her identity as Ashley. She pretends to be Jackson's cousin and Hugh's niece. Only Hugh, Jackson, and her friend and neighbor Kat know her true identity.
Cybergirl is chased by Isaac and Xanda. She is also pursued by a powerful software boss named Rhyss. But the people of River City love Cybergirl. Mayor Buxton approves of her, and her twin daughters, Emerald and Sapphire, are big fans. It's funny because they are not very nice to Ashley at school!
