Dörflingen is a small village and a type of local government area called a municipality in Switzerland. It's located in the Schaffhausen canton, which is like a state. The village is right next to the northern bank of the famous Rhine River.

Dörflingen is in the Reiat district. It's about 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) east of the city of Schaffhausen. What's really interesting is that Dörflingen shares two separate borders with Germany. One of these borders is with a German area called Büsingen am Hochrhein, which is completely surrounded by Switzerland!
