Trumaine Barnett-Epps (born September 19, 1987), known as DJ Tab, is an American DJ, record producer, and business owner. He is famous for his hip hop music.
DJ Tab has worked with many popular artists. These include DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, Bow Wow, and J-Kwon. In 2015, he was nominated for an award. It was for Midwest Regional Club DJ of the Year at the Global Spin Awards. Today, he owns a radio station called Streetz 105.1. He is also a radio host on Sirius XM Shade 45 on Sunday nights.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
DJ Tab was born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, on September 19, 1987. He started DJing when he was only 11 years old. He learned by watching local DJs at skating rinks and teen clubs in St. Louis.
He later studied Criminal Justice at the ITT Technical Institute. His big break came when he was in high school. A local promoter hired him and J-Kwon for a Christmas concert. During the sound check, J-Kwon's music disc stopped working. DJ Tab stepped in and used a vinyl record of J-Kwon's song "Tipsy". This song became a huge hit in 2003. It reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
TV Appearances and Business Ventures
After their success, DJ Tab and J-Kwon appeared on many TV shows. These included BET Rap City, Showtime at the Apollo, and MTV's Total Request Live.
DJ Tab also started his own businesses. In 2015, he launched Empire Clothing. This was an online store for men's clothes. In 2016, he created his own energy drink called Get-N-Tune.

In 2018, he was honored at the Stifel Bank & Trust Black Tie Community Award. He won the Arts & Entertainment Recipient award.
