Dale is a small town in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, USA. It was officially started on November 17, 1853. In 2010, about 2,731 people lived there. The main community of Dale and another small area called Medina are both part of this town.
History of Dale
Long ago, the land where Dale is now was part of a nearby town called Hortonia. People tried to create a new town called Medina here on December 16, 1851. This decision was made during a special meeting of Hortonia's town board.
However, there were disagreements about where the new town's borders should be. So, on February 23, 1852, the idea for Medina was stopped. The land went back to being part of Hortonia.
Almost two years later, on November 18, 1853, the town of Dale was officially created. This time, it successfully separated from the town of Hortonia.
