The township is located in the central part of Muskegon County. It sits north of Muskegon, which is the main city and county seat. It is also southeast of Whitehall.

Roads and Highways

A major road, U.S. Route 31, runs through the township. It's a four-lane freeway, making it easy to travel. You can get on or off this road at Exits 118, 121, and 126. Another state highway, M-120, crosses the eastern side of the township. This road goes through the community of Twin Lake.
