Daniel Arenas Consuegra, born on March 30, 1979, is an actor from Colombia and Mexico. He became well-known after being a finalist in the TV reality show Protagonistas De Nuestra Tele in 2002. Daniel has acted in many shows on both Colombian and Mexican television. In January 2023, he also started working as a co-host for the daytime news show Hoy Día on Telemundo.

Daniel Arenas was born in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia, on March 30, 1979. He is the youngest of six children in his family. Daniel later moved to the United States to study acting and improve his skills.

Early Roles in Colombia
Daniel Arenas started his acting journey on television in a show called Francisco el Matemático. In 2005, he played Santiago Iriarte in the popular TV series Los Reyes. His performance in this show was so good that he was nominated for an India Catalina Award for Best Actor. Later, in 2008, he acted as Samuel Lizcano, an Air Force pilot, in the TV show La sucursal del cielo.
Moving to Mexican Television
In 2010, Daniel Arenas became a Mexican citizen and moved to Mexico City. He then started working for Televisa, a big television company. His first Mexican TV show was Teresa. After that, he appeared in Amorcito Corazón, where he worked with actors like Elizabeth Álvarez and Diego Olivera.
Theater and Main Roles
In 2012, Daniel also performed in theater for the first time. He played the main character, Hercules, a famous hero from Greek mythology, in "Hercules the Musical." In 2013, he got a lead role in the TV series Corazón Indomable. This show was a new version of the popular series Marimar, and he starred alongside Ana Brenda Contreras.
Daniel worked with the same producer again in 2014 for the TV series La Gata. In this show, he acted with Maite Perroni and Erika Buenfil. Daniel also served as a judge for the 10th season of the beauty pageant show, Nuestra Belleza Latina.
