About Daniela Santiago
Daniela Santiago Villena was born in Málaga, Spain, on April 1, 1982. Before she turned 18, she moved to Madrid. There, she started her career as a model. Later, she returned to Malaga and worked as a professional makeup artist. A friend encouraged her to try out for a TV series about "La Veneno".
Her Big Break in Television
Daniela's first major TV role was in Veneno. This series was created by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. It tells the life story of "La Veneno". Daniela learned about the auditions from a friend in Barcelona.
The casting directors, Eva Leira and Yolanda Serrano, chose her. They noticed she looked a lot like "La Veneno" when she first became famous. In the series, Daniela played Cristina during her middle years. She shared the main role with actresses Jedet and Isabel Torres.
