Daniella Pineda (born February 20, 1987) is an American actress. She has played important roles in many movies and TV shows. Some of her well-known roles are in The Originals, Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop, and two films from the Jurassic Park movie series.
Daniella started her career by making funny videos and fashion tips online. Her first movie role was in 2011. She later appeared in a special episode of The Vampire Diaries that led to the show The Originals. She was also in several episodes of The Originals' first season. Her first big movie role from a major studio was in 2018, in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. As a Mexican American, she has talked about challenges faced by Mexican actors.

Early Life and Education
Daniella Pineda was born on February 20, 1987, in Oakland, California. Her parents are Eric Klein and Patricia Pineda. Daniella has two siblings, Anneliese and Elliot. Her family has been in America for three generations, making her a Mexican American.
She went to Mills College and earned a degree in sociology and radio journalism. She also got a special opportunity to work at KALW. There, she talked about important topics like racism and poverty in the Bay Area of California.
Acting Career Highlights
Daniella Pineda's first acting job was in a TV show called Men of a Certain Age in 2010. Before that, she became popular online. She made many funny videos for CollegeHumor in 2010 and 2011. She also shared fashion tips on YouTube.

She joins a team on a mission to save dinosaurs from a volcanic eruption. Daniella said that the dinosaurs in the movie looked very real. She mentioned they had visible veins and eyes that changed.
In 2019, Pineda was in a horror movie called Mercy Black. She played Marina Hess, a woman who had been in a special hospital for 15 years. This was after she took part in a strange ritual. She later believed the creature was not real, which allowed her to go home. In May of the same year, Pineda played Cassidy in the Netflix series What/If. This show has one season with ten episodes.

She has shared that casting directors sometimes told her she did not "look Mexican enough," even though she has Mexican heritage.
